At Dowbuilt, health and safety is a key element in how we run our projects and take care of our people. Mat works with our teams across the country to develop and maintain safety procedures and protocols to ensure that regulatory requirements at various levels are being met. His team strives to develop a culture of continuous improvement when it comes to safety. Using his background as an environmental, safety, and quality assurance auditor he has an eye for detail, a penchant for organization, and a drive to make sure that our teams and those we work with have the tools and training to stay safe on the job. Mat is firm believer in collaboration and relationship building and aims to understand the specific needs of each jobsite in order to help each team develop a realistic and practical safety plan. A member of the LGBTQ+ community, Mat has worked closely with other teammates on DEI initiatives at Dowbuilt.
