With 15 years in the residential construction industry, Hugo has found his niche helping clients and designers realize their vision while navigating the realities of the construction process. Simply put, he advocates for the client, translates design intent for architects, and serves as a jobsite resource for his team. Trust and transparency are central to his approach, enabling a level of candor and cadence among stakeholders that creates cohesion and momentum on his projects.

Raised in rural Wisconsin, Hugo’s passion for building started at an early age. From endless projects remodeling the Victorian farmhouse he grew up in to restoring a vintage sailboat with his dad, he developed a lifelong appreciation for creating and improving spaces. He earned a master’s degree in architecture from UT-Austin to complement his construction experience and previously worked for Risinger Build, where he was promoted to partner. He joined Dowbuilt in 2021 to help launch the region and lead several projects in Austin, Texas.
