Mark Torchie

Role:
Project Manager

As a project manager, Mark is a master of managing complicated residential projects and has worked on several of our important residences and historic renovations.  In his younger years Mark worked as a mechanic and developed meticulous attention to detail and an ability for intricate troubleshooting. He advocates for quality, transparency and a shared understanding of project goals and constraints. He is respected by clients and colleagues for his ability to bring teams together in a collaborative environment ensuring that projects can be executed effectively.

After studying biology and chemistry at Eastern Washington, he actually found himself gravitating toward construction management and began managing projects with a commercial contractor. At Dowbuilt, he applies the same rigor he learned in commercial building to the high-end residential world. He is skilled in subcontractor negotiations, project management, estimating, budgeting and establishing cost controls with a meticulous yet easy-going style.
